since we have two variables which are r and n within one equation, it becomes difficult to solve for r and n.

number of sample space is 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 = 15.
probability of selecting a yellow marble is = 8/15
therefore probability of not selecting a yellow marble is 1 - 8/15 = 7/15
