    Mass is a fundamental quantity and weight is a derived quantity.

    You gys are brillant : but other differences are;-
    # mass is measured by beambalance while weight is measured by spring balance.
    #mass is a fundamental quantity while weight is a derived quantity.
    #Mass is a scalar quantity while weight is a vector quantity.
    @nd that's all FOLKS.

    The difference between mass and weight is that mass is the amount of matter in a material, while weight is a measure of how the force of gravity acts upon that mass.
