    Hello

Notes from the teachers Alye is following

    Geography Form 3

Have you ever asked yourself on how to write a good essay and earn those highest scores? Here is the tricky.
    • Read the question twice Eg Explain four important uses of world major rivers.
    • Have summary on your head in all three stages: Introduction, mainbody and the conclusion.
    • The purpose of writing your essay should be clear before writing anything. It should be on the main body.
    • Remember to give a short summary of your purpose at the end. This is called the conclusion or a closure.
I have written for you a sample here, please do not forget to leave a comment for the improvement of other users
    Enjoy your reading

River is one element of the water cycle in which water collects via precipitation and its intensity increases as it collects more water from many tributaries along its course. All rivers originate from the source in areas and thereby flow downstream. Rivers run through our history and folklore and link us as a people. They nourish and refresh us and provide a home to varieties of fish and wildlife and trees and plants of every sort. Be it Amazon, Mississippi or our very indigenous, the longest Nile, every river is a unique identity and a personality of its own kind, which flows not just past. But through us, vibrating and exciting every cell of the body, rejoicing and therefore should be cared for with utmost affection.

River is the lifeline of any country as they provide numerous benefits along which helps to establish major cities such as Cairo in Egypt. Rivers have played significant role for the development of human and they are still very important ecosystem in the world.

Riivers are the major source of fresh water. It is the flow of naturally freshwater from their source toward the seas. This water is very important source of clean water for drinking, washing and in all domestic chores. This is the reason why people prefer to build their settlements along the river banks.

River water can be utilized for the production of electricity by building dams. This can also be the tourist attraction spot revenue can be collected from it and therefore more money to the economy. Aswan high dam is very important for the Egyptians hydro-electric power.

The banks of the river have very fertile soil which can be used for growing crops and also clay near the rivers are used to make fascinating items such as pots. Example, some parts of Egypt are very dry due to the Sahara desert but people are doing their farming activities along the river banks and in deltas.

Rivers are considered as a cheap mode of water transport. Furthermore bulky and heavier goods like timber can be transported with easy plus there is not problem of traffic which is very common in road transport. Example timber from Amazon forest is carried by river Amazon to wood processing industries.

Rivers has much richness in them, they are unique and significant. Therefore I call on everyone to join hands with our nation so we can conserve this important ecosystem. What else can we do to them? They provide us with water, power, move goods and people and the most fertile soil beside them.
